Founder & Managing Partner of Al Ramsy Advocates & Legal Consultancy. Dr. Ahmed founded the practice in Abu Dhabi in 2000 and led its expansion to Dubai in 2015.
Dr. Ahmed grew up in a UAE family with ties to business, law and public service. His early education in the Emirates and legal studies abroad shaped how he approaches disputes involving more than one legal system.
After school in the UAE, he earned a law degree in Europe, where he studied different legal systems, international commerce and arbitration.
At Dubai law firms, he advised on commercial, corporate and arbitration matters, developing his approach to negotiation and courtroom strategy.
Dr. Ahmed founded Al Ramsy Advocates to bring knowledge of UAE law and international legal training together in one practice.
He led the expansion to Dubai, now the firm’s headquarters. The team’s work extends to cross-border transactions and disputes involving several jurisdictions.
